Australia Visitor Visa Checklist:
I. BASIC DOCUMENTS FOR ALL APPLICANTS
Passport:
- Original passport with minimum 06 months of validity from the date of departure.
- Minimum two blank pages for visa stamping.
- All old passports need to be submitted along with the current passport.
- Pan and Aadhaar card copies.
Photos:
- 04 Photographs – Size 35mm & 40mm.
- White background with 80% face coverage.
- Photographed within six months before application.
II. DOCUMENTS BASED ON THE APPLICANT TYPE
If applicant is retired:
- Pension slip for last 3 months.
- Retirement certificate.
- Pension order.
If applicant is an employee:
- Salary slips for last 03 months and working ID card copy.
- Cover letter. (***)
- NOC cum leave letter on company letter head with stamp and authorized signature mentioning the details of applicant like Name, Contact Number, Email ID, Designation, Leave sanction dates and purpose of visit.
- Last 06 months bank statements with stamp and signature of Personal and Salary Accounts.
- Last 03 years ITR or Form 16.
If applicant is self-employed / owner of a company/Director:
- Cover letter on company letter head with stamp and signature mentioning the details of applicant like name, Contact Number, Email ID, Designation and Purpose of Visit.(***)
- Company’s registration certificate and any related documents
- Last 06 months Company’s bank statements with stamp and signature.
- Last 03 years personal ITR's or Form 16 and Company’s ITR's
- Last 06 months personal bank statements with stamp and signature.
- Partnership deed.
If applicant is a student:
- Bonafide Certificate.
- Confirmed Admission/ Invitation letter from the institute of visiting country.
- School ID or College ID.
Honeymooners applying before wedding:
- Original wedding card.
- NOC from both of the parents.
- Engagement photos.
Other Cases:
- If married and wife is travelling alone then need to provide NOC from husband.
- If married then need to submit marriage certificate.
- Applicants below 18 years need to provide birth certificate.
Additional documents that provide weight age to application:
- Fixed deposits
- LIC.
- Mutual Funds
- Property documents or any agricultural / land documents

Tourist Visa (Paper Visa):
- Processing time: 28-35 working days (processing time completely depends on consulate)
- Stay period: Up to 90 days (depends on the consulate)
- Validity: 1 year (depends on the consulate)
- Entry: Multiple
Submission:
- NEW DELHI- Have to submit Through VFS Center
Note:
- All documents need to be presented in the given order. Please DO NOT staple any document.
- Applications cannot be submitted more than 3 months prior to departure.
- The applicant bears responsibility concerning all content of the application.
- Photos should not be stapled with the application.
- Reason letter in case he/she not travelled on the previous Australia Visa.
- Please note that Embassy deserves the right to ask for additional documents or personal appearance for an interview, submission of the above-mentioned documents does not guarantee that visa is granted.
- Submission of incomplete documents and refusal to appear for a special interview may result in rejection of application.
- The visa fee, according to Australia Immigration regulations is non-refundable.
